Children play a competitive game of netball during a Sunday afternoon league match played on their field next to a temporary police station surrounded with barbed wire in Mitchell’s Plain near Cape Town, South Africa. Various elements of crime & gangsterism pervade society on the Cape Flats & provoke an already stressed police service to take action & set up small bases in these areas to try & control crime that threatens to take over the communities.
