Colour plays with houses & men greet in the street as Bo-Kaap comes to life in the mid afternoon. The bright suburb with its cobbled roads sits like a jewel on the side of the crown that is Signal Hill, not far from the Cape Town city centre. Beautifully steeped in history this famous Malay Quarter is symbolic of the old days when the Cape was built by the skilled hands of the people from Bo-Kaap & today it still reflects true Cape tradition in a place made timeless by the prayers that carry on the wind.
